Job Requirements
- High school education or equivalent
- One to two years of experience in a related position within the company or other organization
- Ability to manage kitchen staff and operations effectively
- Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stand, and communicate effectively
- Ability to work in temperature-varied environments
- Excellent literacy and comprehension skills to manage records and budgets
Job Qualifications

- One to two years of experience in a related position within the company or other organization
- Advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within the food profession
- Experience managing people and complex food and beverage operations
- Excellent comprehension and literacy skills to read, write, use records and analyze budgets
Job Duties
- Manage the daily production, preparation and presentation of all food for the hotel's restaurant(s) and room service to ensure a quality, consistent product is produced which conforms to all franchise standards
- Manage human resources in the production and preparation areas of the kitchen including interview, hire, schedule, train, develop, empower, coach and counsel staff
- Schedule and manage the maintenance and sanitation of the kitchen, equipment and related areas to ensure a healthy, safe work environment which meets/exceeds standards
- Monitor, analyze and control all labor and food costs and prepare the appropriate reports, charts and schedules
- Promote the Accident Prevention Program to minimize liabilities and related expenses
- Assist Executive Chef in creating and implementing menu and production changes
