Job Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred or 3 years related management experience
- Previous experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
- Advanced culinary knowledge
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability for event-based evening, weekend, and holiday hours

- Availability to work event-based hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Report to and support the Executive Chef in overseeing daily culinary team operations and special events
- Ensure culinary standards and techniques are followed for food preparation, production, presentation, and service
- Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees on best food production practices
- Coach employees by fostering a shared understanding of goals and methods
- Reward and recognize employee performance
- Maintain staff records including training, shift checklists, and performance data
- Develop and maintain effective client and guest rapport
- Communicate regional culinary and ingredient trends
- Focus on margin improvement by monitoring performance metrics, data, order, and inventory trends
- Maintain the integrity of Aramark food quality and safety standards
- Comply with Operational Excellence fundamentals including waste management and recipe standards
- Ensure accurate estimation of food consumption for requisitions and purchases
- Oversee proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with Aramark SAFE food and Quality Assurance standards and occupational safety policies
- Adhere to all applicable safety, health, and wage-hour regulations
