Job Requirements
- Culinary degree preferred or related management experience
- Experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
- Advanced knowledge of food preparation principles
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Availability for event-based hours including weekends and holidays

- Culinary degree preferred or at least 3 years of related experience in a management role
- Previous experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
- Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
- Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Report to and support the Executive Chef in overseeing culinary team for daily operations and special events
- Ensure culinary standards and techniques for food preparation, production, presentation, and service
- Train and manage culinary and kitchen employees on best practice food production techniques
- Coach employees to create shared understanding and achieve performance goals
- Reward and recognize employees
- Maintain staff records including training, shift checklists, and performance data
- Develop and maintain client and guest rapport
- Communicate culinary and ingredient trends
- Focus on margin improvement through performance metrics and inventory management
- Maintain food quality and safety in compliance with Aramark standards
- Manage waste, menus, recipes, and labor standards
- Ensure accuracy of food consumption estimates and requisitions
- Oversee proper equipment operation and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and wage regulations
