Job Requirements

  • Minimum one year of proven experience as Assistant Food and Beverage Manager or in similar roles in high-volume F&B operations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Fluent English language skills both verbal and written
  • Advanced computer skills involving MS Office, F&B management software, POS
  • Preferably a graduate of a recognized hotel, catering, or culinary school
  • Understanding of the foundation of guest service
  • Personable communicator with outstanding social skills
  • Ability to continuously surprise and delight guests
  • Commitment to professional and courteous working relationships

Job Qualifications

  • Effective problem-solving skills to address customer complaints and support staff
  • Exceptional customer service skills with regular guest interaction and complaint resolution
  • Fluent English language skills, both verbal and written
  • Advanced computer proficiency including MS Office, F&B management software, and POS systems
  • Preferably a graduate of a recognized hotel, catering, or culinary school
  • Fundamental understanding of guest service with a commitment to outstanding service delivery
  • Personable communicator with excellent social skills and a warm, friendly personality
  • Ability to consistently surprise and delight guests throughout their cruise experience
  • Commitment to maintaining courteous and professional relationships in a diverse cultural environment

Job Duties

  • Drive beverage excellence by exceeding beverage targets and fostering a personalized, guest-focused service culture
  • Take ownership of service recovery by addressing and resolving negative guest interactions promptly and effectively
  • Utilize Princess MedallionClass technology to enhance guest engagement and streamline service
  • Oversee accurate and prompt order processing through onboard POS systems
  • Manage inventory and stock to avoid overstocking or expiration and align with business needs
  • Analyze voyage financial performance to identify revenue opportunities and provide feedback to the Bar Manager
  • Coordinate special events such as Champagne Waterfall, Chef's Table, and Catering Transfers with accuracy
  • Ensure timely and precise input of transfers and beverages usage into Crunchtime system
  • Manage Crew Cambusa sales according to Princess Ways standards and document transactions transparently
  • Monitor and support beverage package sales especially during the initial voyage days
  • Promote and train staff on using Dining Reservation System and MedallionClass applications
  • Assist with staffing and scheduling to ensure optimal beverage service delivery across venues
  • Maintain high venue standards for setup, ambiance, and cleanliness
  • Collaborate with supervisors to review bar schedules and identify staffing needs aligned with food and entertainment schedules
