Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (ged)
  • Minimum of 2 years of professional bartender experience in an upscale dining establishment
  • Extensive craft cocktail spirit and beer knowledge
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of guests or team members
  • Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals
  • Ability to compute rate ratio and percent
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a class a gaming license
  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain a food handlers certification
  • Must qualify to obtain and maintain responsible beverage certification
  • Working knowledge of micros
  • Extensive craft cocktail spirit beer and wine knowledge

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve drinks to guests including cocktails wine beer and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain cleanliness of bar countertop and assist with maintaining the cleanliness of the entire designated bar area
  • Ensure that bar is stocked with glasses garnishes drink mixes and ice
  • Demonstrate proper knowledge of all liquor laws and regulations
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and new drinks continuously expand knowledge of different types of beverages
  • Demonstrate knowledge of all PRC drink recipes
  • Suggest and have a working knowledge of high-end wine and spirits
  • Make signature cocktails using creative ingredients fresh herbs and other embellishments
  • Adhere to cash and operating policies in accordance with PRC handbook
  • Maintain proper sanitation and safety procedures for food handling
  • Maintain a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times
  • Provide impeccable service and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Assess guest preferences and make drink suggestions
  • Effectively upsell craft cocktails wine and beer generating sales and revenue growth
  • Abide by all liquor laws and policies set forth by PRC
  • Perform other duties as assigned
