Job Requirements
- Minimum two years related, progressive experience in coffee or food and beverage industry
- high school diploma or GED
- valid and current TABC certification
- current Food Handler’s Manager Certification
- experience with inventory and cost controls
- ability to work within a budget
- ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents
- ability to write routine reports
- ability to speak effectively before groups
- mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and algebra
- computer literacy including Toast, Excel, Birchstreet
- strong communication skills

- knowledge of inventory and cost of goods controls

- ability to apply mathematical concepts including basic arithmetic and algebra
Job Duties
- Support the team in successful day-to-day operations
- ensure the restaurant runs effectively and efficiently within the company’s operational and financial guidelines
- communicate initiatives clearly to the team
- train and supervise team members in daily operations, service, sanitation, and safety
- maintain knowledge of recipes, products, and production procedures
- ensure menu items are produced according to standards and health codes
- assign duties and responsibilities to team members
- manage labor costs
- assist Hotel General Manager with cost control and action plans
- implement inventory standards and conduct accurate inventory
- perform personnel actions including interviews and corrective actions
- hold staff accountable through performance evaluations
- maintain open communication with staff and management
- resolve guest issues promptly
- monitor compliance with health, fire, and safety regulations
- maintain safe working conditions and equipment
- stay updated on safety and emergency procedures
- attend relevant meetings
