Job Requirements
- Graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or related field

Job Qualifications
- Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in behavioral sciences, public or business administration, or job-related field
- Two years of recent related experience
- Ability to advise individuals and groups on university procedures and student advocacy
- Experience with budgeting, fiscal management, and reporting
- Skills in planning and coordinating student programs and activities
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Knowledge of student development principles
- Proven customer service experience with diplomacy and professionalism
- Ability to handle sensitive interpersonal situations with tact
- Ability to foster teamwork and positive work atmosphere
- Proficiency in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, online systems, email, and calendaring
- Working knowledge or ability to learn university infrastructure
- Willingness to travel for professional development
- Ability to work occasional holidays and adjust hours as needed
- Preferred master's degree in educational counseling, student affairs, or related field
- Demonstrated skills in an educational environment with customer-service orientation
Job Duties
- Advise students in ASI Campus Life Committee and Rowdy Bunch Program, mentor student leaders in event planning and leadership skill development
- Provide individual and group advisement to ASI Board members and student assistants on time management, advocacy, and university procedures
- Assist with development and logistics of ASI orientations, retreats, and board meetings
- Conduct one-on-one check-ins with student leaders to assess progress and address challenges
- Collaborate with ASI Vice President of Finance and accounting to monitor and review ASI budget and support financial understanding
- Coordinate ASI signature programs including logistics, scheduling, and assessment
- Serve as ASI representative on campus event planning committees and facilitate collaboration with campus partners
- Assist with development and promotion of social, educational, and cultural programs aligned with ASI mission
- Monitor programming budget with ASI Vice President of Campus Life for accurate expense reporting
- Support promotional activities in coordination with ASI Graphic Designer
- Act as primary contact for vendors and professional staff at ASI and campus events, including evenings and weekends
- Support collaborative programming opportunities between ASI, university departments, and community organizations
- Conduct outreach to raise awareness of ASI programs and encourage student engagement
- Develop and sustain relationships with campus stakeholders to support student involvement
- Support efforts to enhance campus traditions and school spirit
- Maintain and organize ASI documents and digital records
- Oversee ASI social media presence including posts, campaigns, and updates
- Update department webpages to ensure current, relevant, and accessible content
- Coordinate recruitment and hiring processes for ASI student leaders and assistants in compliance with policies
