Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Must obtain a tuberculosis clearance certificate
  • Minimum five-day, 50-hour workweek availability
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules
  • Open availability as business needs dictate
  • Reliable transportation for work at multiple island locations
  • Ability to perform physical and medical requirements of the role

Job Duties

  • Prioritize, direct and coordinate restaurant activities to strengthen the brand and maximize sales and profitability
  • Cover 100% of shifts with capable Managers in Charge (MICs)
  • Ensure adequate team member staffing for all key positions
  • Develop and maintain active succession plans for key roles such as General Manager, Assistant General Manager, Shift Leader, and Team Trainer
  • Foster fair treatment and address employee concerns promptly to maintain high morale
  • Provide timely and effective performance evaluations
  • Teach and delegate recruiting, training, coaching, and evaluation techniques to management
  • Ensure strict compliance with government laws and company policies
  • Monitor and control inventory and labor costs to meet KPIs
  • Follow up daily on sales, cost of sales, and labor variances
  • Verify and approve weekly and period end inventories and payroll
  • Troubleshoot and correct cost variances
  • Delegate management training on ordering, scheduling, cost control, and P&L analysis
  • Deliver attentive, hospitable customer service on all shifts
  • Maintain food quality and sanitary conditions consistently
  • Communicate and enforce group and brand standards
  • Maintain and correct asset deficiencies promptly
  • Create and enforce a safety-first culture
  • Enforce safety policies on all shifts
  • Respond to safety concerns swiftly
  • Work minimum 50 hours per week including nights and weekends as required
  • Adapt availability to business needs including specific weekend shifts
  • Be available to work at multiple island locations with transportation
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
