Job Requirements
- Must be a registered UCLA student
- Must be available for at least one open and one close shift
- Must be available for summer schedule with weekend hours
- Ability to work Mon-Thur 7:00am - 7:00pm and Fri 7:00am - 5:00pm
- Willingness to work some weekend hours including Sat 9:00am - 3:00pm and Sun varied hours
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs
- Must have midday and Friday availability preferred
- Must be able to handle busy and fast-paced work environment
- Employees are not allowed to accept tips
Job Qualifications
- Registered UCLA student
- Ability to work a minimum of 10-12 hours per week
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and quick learner
- Previous barista experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Job Duties
- Perform coffee barista duties including coffee and specialty drink preparation
- Manage cashiering tasks including processing payments and customer transactions
- Prepare minimal food items and assist with food prep and production
- Conduct all related cleaning duties to maintain a clean and safe workspace
- Assist with opening and closing shifts to ensure smooth operations
- Engage with customers providing friendly and efficient service
- Follow all food service operations guidelines and safety standards
