Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • three to five years of restaurant management experience
  • exceptional leadership and motivational skills
  • ability to attract, train, develop and retain team members
  • strong guest service orientation
  • ability to set and achieve financial goals for restaurant operations
  • physical capability to perform tasks including bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • familiarity with safety standards and procedures in kitchen operations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • some college preferred
  • three to five years of high volume full-service restaurant management experience preferred
  • exceptional leadership and motivational skills
  • ability to attract, train, develop and retain top team members
  • strong guest service focus
  • ability to define, measure and attain financial goals including sales growth, guest count, staffing, cost of goods and labor management

Job Duties

  • Manage all dining room and kitchen systems and operations effectively
  • provide direction, coaching, training, and development for assistant managers and team members
  • ensure consistent execution of systems, standards, and cost controls
  • establish and communicate goals to the General Manager and Local Owner regularly
  • communicate effectively with guests, team members, management, owners, teams, and vendors
  • maintain cleanliness of both exterior and interior facilities
  • oversee BOH schedules to maintain staffing levels, labor goals, and guest satisfaction
  • manage department inventory procedures and train assistant managers on inventory
  • handle BOH budgets including forecasting
  • participate in interviewing and hiring to maintain staffing levels
  • manage assistant managers and team members to meet food and service standards
  • follow safety procedures and equipment standards
  • handle multiple priorities, work under stress and exercise good judgment
