Job Requirements
- Must have one or more years of jewelry industry experience
- Must have one or more years of experience with custom jobs
- Must have a basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers and vendors and knowledge of reading CAD to get costs for pieces
- Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during the interview process
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledgeable in Excel
- Knowledgeable in Photoshop
- Ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing is a plus
- Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year
- Must live in the New York Tri-State area
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in the jewelry industry
- One or more years of experience handling custom job orders
- Basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers and vendors
- Ability to read CAD designs to determine costs
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel
- Proficiency in Photoshop
- Ability to work well with diverse team members
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing processes is a plus
Job Duties
- Submit and verify custom orders with vendors within specified time frames
- Oversee the special and custom order process from start to finish
- Calculate and quote prices for custom jewelry pieces
- Communicate regularly with vendors and customers to provide updates and resolve issues
- Check the status of custom orders and maintain quoted timeframes
- Handle potential order issues proactively
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of custom order processes
