Job Requirements
- Must have one or more years of jewelry industry experience
- Must have one or more years of experience with custom jobs
- Must have basic understanding of placing CAD requests with designers and vendors
- Must be able to read CAD to get cost for pieces
- Must be able to pass knowledge assessment during interview process
- Excellent communication skills required
- Knowledgeable in Excel
- Knowledgeable in Photoshop
- Must have ability to work well with a team of diverse personalities
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing is a plus
- Must be able to travel to shows a minimum of three times per year
- Must live in New York tri-state area
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of experience in the jewelry industry
- Experience with custom jobs and CAD processes
- Basic understanding of placing CAD requests and reading CAD files to estimate costs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop
- Ability to work well within a diverse team
- Knowledge of jewelry manufacturing a plus
- Ability to pass a knowledge assessment during the interview process
- Residency within the New York tri-state area
Job Duties
- Accurately submit and verify custom orders with vendors within a specified time-frame
- Oversee the special and custom order process from start to finish
- Calculate and quote prices for custom orders
- Interact regularly with vendors and customers to ensure smooth order processing
- Check status of orders, maintain quoted time frames, and promptly handle any potential issues
- Collaborate with team members to manage workload efficiently
- Participate in travel to jewelry shows a minimum of three times per year
