Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior cocktail or bartending experience preferred
- Ability to memorize all available drinks including call and premium brands
- Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs on a continuous basis
- Ability to comply with all liquor laws and regulations
- Valid work authorization
- Ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
Job Qualifications
- Prior cocktail experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
- Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items
- Ability to read, speak, and write English to communicate with guests and take orders
- Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate
- TIPS and ServSafe food handler certification required
- CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred
Job Duties
- Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain all specials, promotions, and snacks
- Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested
- Provide appropriate snack and garnish with all beverages when requested
- Input orders into point of sale system to inform bartender an order was made in a timely manner
- Present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return
- Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation of bar area along with personal hygiene
- Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
