Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior cocktail or bartending experience preferred
  • Ability to memorize all available drinks including call and premium brands
  • Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs on a continuous basis
  • Ability to comply with all liquor laws and regulations
  • Valid work authorization
  • Ability to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Qualifications

  • Prior cocktail experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
  • Knowledge of appropriate table settings, service ware, and menu items
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English to communicate with guests and take orders
  • Ability to obtain any government required license or certificate
  • TIPS and ServSafe food handler certification required
  • CPR certification and/or first aid training preferred

Job Duties

  • Greet guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner and explain all specials, promotions, and snacks
  • Take orders, reciting selection of all call and premium brands as requested
  • Provide appropriate snack and garnish with all beverages when requested
  • Input orders into point of sale system to inform bartender an order was made in a timely manner
  • Present the guest with the check promptly, thanking them and inviting them to return
  • Maintain all cleanliness and sanitation of bar area along with personal hygiene
  • Adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
