Job Requirements
- Theatrical touring experience required
- Must be able to travel extensively including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to adapt to various theater venues and modes of transportation including planes, trains, and buses
- Must have a valid passport
- Must be able to work in diverse locations and maintain professionalism
- Must demonstrate leadership and organizational skills
Job Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of tour company management or related industry experience
- Strong understanding of touring management and operations
- Experience with presenter and venue relations, settlements, and box office statements
- Experience managing IATSE union agreements, payroll processing, workers’ compensation, and group travel
- Must have a valid passport for international travel
- Superior communication skills, sound judgment, and compassion
- Ability to multitask in a high stress environment with attention to detail
Job Duties
- Serve as the company leader and oversee the tour management team setting culture and tone
- Ensure company members adhere to policies and procedures
- Administer payroll and benefits for touring members
- Audit nightly box office statements and finalize engagement settlements
- Liaise with local presenters to ensure booking agreement compliance
- Coordinate and manage transportation and housing arrangements
- Serve as human resources representative monitoring insurance claims and mediating personnel issues
