Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- minimum 6 months of commercial janitorial experience desired
- ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs
- ability to use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
- good communication skills
- punctuality and reliability
- ability to follow safety protocols and attend training
- authorized to work in the U.S.
- compliance with airport security screening if assigned to airport facilities
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 6 months of experience in commercial janitorial or cleaning services desired
- knowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities
- good listening and verbal communication skills
- ability to speak and understand English for some positions
- ability to maintain a neat appearance and wear uniform if required

- ability to understand and anticipate client needs
- ability to attend periodic safety training
Job Duties
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax and polish floors using industrial equipment
- dust and wash walls, ceilings, and light fixtures
- move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to clean areas
- remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
- sweep walks, rake leaves, cut grass, remove snow, and perform seasonal tasks
- remove trash and perform heavy lifting up to 50 lbs
- apply and remove protective applications to walls, floors and equipment
- empty waste baskets and replace liners
- dust and clean tops of office furniture
- vacuum carpeting and spot clean soiled areas
- clean glass on lobby doors
- wipe and clean table tops, chairs, vending machines, and appliances
- clean sinks, counters, and tile floors in lunchroom and break areas
- clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets, basins, and urinals
- sweep and mop floors with disinfectant
- spot clean walls, partitions, and doors
- refill restroom dispensers
- clean overhead vents, dust blinds, polish wood furniture, dust high partitions and ledges, and clean interior glass partitions
- maintain janitor's closet neat and orderly
- properly maintain cleaning equipment such as vacuums
- attend periodic training and safety meetings
- comply with safety and security protocols, including airport screenings
