Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk throughout entire shift
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, mopping, sweeping, and wiping frequently
- Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced, and distracting environments
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Available to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Must adhere to company dress guidelines and maintain a neat and professional appearance
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous maintenance experience in hotel or restaurant preferred but not required
- Ability to operate cleaning and repair equipment safely
- Familiarity with chemical safety and usage
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Self-motivated and disciplined work ethic
- Friendly demeanor and ability to interact with guests positively
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including days, nights, and weekends
- Basic knowledge of cleaning procedures and maintenance tasks
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through a combination of food, drinks, and games in an ideal fun environment
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Safely and correctly operate all equipment
- Use all chemicals properly in correct quantities for safety and cost control
- Adhere to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures
- Control costs by not overstocking or disposing of unused materials
- Clean and maintain kitchen and dish areas, floors, walls, and drains
- Maintain cleanliness of storage areas, restock supplies
- Clean and maintain windows, lamps, mirrors, light fixtures
- Clean wood floors, walls, tile, and carpets
- Maintain sanitation of restrooms including restocking supplies
- Dust wood and fixtures
- Polish brass plates, rails, and hardware
- Clean and maintain ceiling fans, air intakes, HVAC vents
- Clean mats and trash cans
- Maintain back dock area
- Assist other team members as needed
- Maintain favorable working relationships and promote teamwork
- Be friendly and professional while working various shifts
- Communicate effectively with guests and team members
- Dress according to guidelines and maintain cleanliness and professionalism
