Job Requirements
- high school education or GED
- three years of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily
- ability to work weekends and holidays
- willingness to work overtime on short notice
- must secure airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- must pass FAA criminal background check
- valid driver’s license as required by airport authority
- physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand, walk, reach, climb, stoop, kneel and crouch
- ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments
- ability to handle cleaning equipment and materials safely
Job Qualifications
- high school education or GED
- three years of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- ability to read and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers
- ability to print and speak simple sentences
- must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily
- must secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- must fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted airport access
- must be able to work weekends, holidays and overtime on short notice
- valid driver’s license as required by airport authority
Job Duties
- Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and trim
- sweeps, scrubs, waxes, mops, dry mops and polishes floors
- cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies
- dusts furniture and equipment
- polishes metalwork
- washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork
- washes windows, door panels and sills
- empties wastebaskets and cleans ashtrays
- transports trash and waste to disposal area
- replenishes bathroom supplies
- replaces light bulbs
- cleans and wipes down break room appliances
- performs other cleaning duties as assigned
