Job Requirements
- High school education or GED
- Minimum 3 years of related experience or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to perform cleaning duties satisfactorily
- Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges if applicable
- Fulfill FAA criminal background checks for unescorted access to airport security identification display areas (SIDA) if applicable
- Ability to work weekends and holidays
- Ability to work overtime on short notice in emergencies or when operationally necessary
- Valid driver’s license if required by airport authority to operate a vehicle or equipment
Job Qualifications
- High school education or GED
- Minimum 3 years of related experience or training
- Ability to read and recognize two- and three-syllable words
- Ability to print and speak simple sentences
- Ability to use specialized cleaning equipment and solutions
- Valid driver’s license if required by airport authority
- Ability to work weekends, holidays and third shift
- Ability to pass FAA criminal background checks for SIDA access if applicable
Job Duties
- Clean and polish lighting fixtures, marble surfaces and trim
- Sweep, scrub, wax, mop, dry mop and polish floors
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and draperies
- Dust furniture and equipment
- Polish metalwork
- Wash walls, ceilings and woodwork
- Wash windows, door panels and sills
- Empty wastebaskets and clean ashtrays
- Transport trash and waste to disposal area
- Replenish bathroom supplies
- Replace light bulbs
- Clean and wipe down break room appliances
- Perform other duties as assigned
