Job Requirements
- Must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
- must be endowed and possess a current temple recommend
- flexible and willing to complete all assigned tasks
- ability to follow established safety and quality procedures
- ability to work part-time hours
- physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting and standing for extended periods
- good communication skills
- legal authorization to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior custodial or janitorial experience is a plus but not required
- ability to follow safety, security, and compliance standards
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- flexibility to perform a variety of cleaning tasks
- must be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints who is endowed and has a current temple recommend
- reliable and self-motivated
Job Duties
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- dust furniture, walls, and light fixtures
- remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
- mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- clean and vacuum carpeted areas including spot cleaning treatment
- gather and empty trash
- wipe and clean tabletops and chairs
- clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- service, clean, and supply restrooms
- clean glass doors
- keep janitor's closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment
- requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
