- being endowed and holding a current temple recommend
- ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- willingness to follow safety and compliance standards

- flexibility in completing assignments
- basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and handling
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- prior custodial or cleaning experience is advantageous
- ability to follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures
- good communication skills to establish working relationships with clients and team members
- flexibility to perform a variety of assigned tasks
- physical stamina to perform cleaning duties
- membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints with current temple recommend
Job Duties
- cleans building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them
- dusts furniture, walls, light fixtures
- may remove stains from such surfaces as rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
- mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications
- cleans and vacuums carpeted areas, including application of spot cleaning treatment
- gathers and empties trash
- wipes and cleans tabletops, chairs
- cleans and polishes furniture and fixtures
- services, cleans, and supplies restrooms
- cleans glass doors
- must keep janitor’s closet neat and orderly and maintain equipment in good working order
- requisitions supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties
- miscellaneous duties as assigned
