Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- At least one year of janitorial experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to comply with uniform and grooming standards and wear required identification badges
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Capacity to pass security clearance and obtain SIDA badge
Job Qualifications
- One year of janitorial experience
- Customer service experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Must meet all requirements for approval to work in specific ATS environments if applicable
Job Duties
- Clean and maintain men’s restrooms, locker rooms, and related facilities even while in use
- Perform heavy cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, scrubbing floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish
- Notify managers of needed repairs or additions to building operating systems
- Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, shift coordinators, supervisors, and managers
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures
- Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors following chemical and equipment procedures
- Dust and wash furniture, walls, machines, equipment, ceilings, and polish light fixtures
- Remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
- Mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions
- Vacuum carpeted areas including spot cleaning
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Clean interior glass surfaces using appropriate methods
- Maintain janitor's closet and equipment
- Requisition supplies and equipment needed
- Make basic repairs as needed
- Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
