Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in janitorial or cleaning roles preferred
- Availability to work mid-shift and closing shifts
- Ability to comply with Walmart's drug-free workplace policy
- Capable of performing physical tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
- Willingness to work part-time hours
- Must meet or exceed the minimum wage requirements for the location
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience is an asset
- Ability to work flexible mid-shift and closing shifts
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina for standing and performing manual tasks
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Job Duties
- Ensure the cleanliness of the entire store from parking lot to restrooms to receiving area
- Maintain a safe and sanitary shopping environment
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash bins, and sanitizing surfaces
- Respond promptly to spills and other hazards to prevent accidents
- Support store team by maintaining high standards of store presentation
- Assist with setting up and taking down cleaning equipment and supplies
- Follow all safety protocols and company policies
