Job Requirements
- must be 18 years of age or older
- must have reliable telephone and transportation
- must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend, and climb stairs throughout shift
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- must pass pre-employment background check
- must be a U.S. citizen or have authorized work authorization
- must have good hearing and vision
- may be required to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
- may be exposed to occasional loud noise levels
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or GED
- previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- knowledge of FAA, TSA, and airline regulations preferred
- demonstrated ability to follow safety protocols
- effective interpersonal skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality
- capable of reporting and documenting work accurately
Job Duties
- conduct thorough cleaning of assigned locations including vacuuming, dusting, restroom sanitation, waste removal, window cleaning, floor scrubbing, stripping and waxing
- clean jet bridges, break rooms, ticket counters, office spaces and other customer areas
- report supply needs to supervisor for re-ordering
- complete all required reports accurately and timely
- adhere to FAA, TSA, airline and company regulations
- maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs in assigned areas
- project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff and public
- attend meetings and training sessions as required
- maintain records, reports and files
- wear proper uniform and identification badges
- follow company policies and participate in company objectives
- use company equipment and supplies efficiently
- perform other duties as assigned
