Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- must have reliable telephone and transportation
- must pass pre-employment and random drug tests
- must pass pre-employment background check
- must be a US citizen or possess necessary authorization from the Immigration and Naturalization Service
- must be able to sit, stand, lift, bend, and climb stairs throughout a shift
- must possess good hearing and vision
- must be able to work weekends, overnight shifts and holidays
- must treat all information as confidential
- must adhere to safety rules and notify superiors of unsafe conditions
- must wear proper uniform and identification badge
- must communicate in English verbally and in writing
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
- ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in English
- good hearing and vision
- ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- familiarity with FAA, TSA, airline, and company regulations preferred
- ability to work weekends, overnight shifts, and holidays if required
- ability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting up to 50 pounds
- strong interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of staff and clients
- ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate professional conduct
Job Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned airport locations according to client specifications
- vacuum, dust, clean restrooms, replenish supplies, remove garbage, clean windows, scrub, strip, and wax floors on a scheduled basis
- clean jet bridges, break rooms, ticket counters, office space, and customer areas
- leave supply re-order notices for supervisors
- accurately complete and submit cleaning reports
- ensure compliance with FAA, TSA, Airline, and company regulations
- maintain cleanliness and report maintenance needs in assigned areas
- project a positive image and respond courteously to inquiries from airlines, staff, and the public
- attend required meetings and in-services
- maintain communication and proper record-keeping
- wear required uniforms and display identification badges
- adhere to company policies and contribute to company objectives
- use company and client equipment and supplies efficiently and responsibly
- perform other assigned duties as needed
