Job Requirements
- Able to work quickly, thoroughly and independently
- Knowledge of proper use of chemicals and cleaning materials
- Extreme attention to detail regarding cleanliness and safety
- Positive and cheerful attitude towards members and staff
- Adherence to safety rules
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- Minimum 6 months experience in janitorial or housekeeping
- At least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Physical ability to exert up to 25 pounds of force frequently
- Ability to stand, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Ability to stand for full shift
- Willingness to work overnight shifts as needed
- Adherence to meal and rest breaks and clocking in and out for shifts
Job Qualifications
- Must be able to work quickly, thoroughly and independently
- Must know and understand the proper use of chemicals and cleaning materials
- Possess extreme attention to detail regarding cleanliness and safety
- Display and promote a positive and cheerful attitude towards members and staff
- Adhere to all safety rules
- Proficient in English
- Able to communicate verbally and in writing
- Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
- At least 6 months experience in janitorial or housekeeping
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
Job Duties
- Clean windows, glass doors and mirrors in the gym
- Wipe down equipment, doors and floors regularly
- Empty all trash receptacles daily
- Sweep, vacuum and mop floors, stairwells and staircases
- Shampoo the carpet as needed
- Dust and clean exercise equipment
- Clean and disinfect toilets, shower stalls and changing areas
- Pick up debris and spillage promptly
- Restock the locker room and toilets
- Clean and disinfect food preparation areas
- Maintain supplies and cleaning equipment in good condition
- Clean all MMA areas including mats, octagon and bags
- Change light bulbs
- Report any maintenance concerns to management
- Respond to member requests and report complaints
- Complete checklists and logs in a timely manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
