Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 6 months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Ability to work flexible schedule
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Performs general cleaning, disinfecting, and sanitizing tasks and services throughout assigned facility including restrooms, breakrooms, offices, and conference rooms
- Cleans windows and mirrors throughout the facility
- Clean, disinfect, sanitize, and supply designated building areas such as dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning high/low areas
- Empties and decontaminates trash containers
- Wipes down and sanitizes surfaces throughout the facility
- Maintains facility floors clean of all debris by utilizing Tennant machine, mops, and vacuums
- Utilizes cleaning tools provided by Economy Wholesale Grocers
- Keeps environmental closet organized and stores supplies and tools accordingly
- Notifies supervisor/manager of any safety hazards
- Documents routine inspection and maintenance activities
- Follows instructions from the environmental supervisor
- Maintains warehouse floors clean of debris including shrink wrap and wood chips in aisles, receiving docks, and freezer/cooler floors
- Moves pallets manually using pallet jack to clean floors
- Maintains outside areas clean of debris including front and backyard
- Maintains clean rack beams
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management
