Job Duties
- Monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliances
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms
- Gather and empty trash
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- Follow safe procedures for chemical cleaners and power equipment
- Mix water and detergents or acids to prepare cleaning solutions
- Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- Notify managers about major repair needs or additions
- Requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate materials
