- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, sitting for long periods

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- six months of commercial janitorial or facilities cleaning experience desired
- knowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities
- good listening and verbal communication skills
- ability to understand and anticipate client needs
- punctuality
- ability to safely use cleaning equipment and chemicals
- ability to follow safety protocols
Job Duties
- Sweep, vacuum, mop, scrub, wax, and polish floors using industrial cleaning equipment
- dust and wash walls, windows, ceilings, and light fixtures, sometimes using ladders
- move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates, and equipment to clean areas
- remove stains from rugs, drapes, walls, and floors using chemicals and cleaning solutions
- perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walks, raking leaves, cutting grass, and snow removal
- empty waste baskets and replace liners
- clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets, basins, and urinals
- wipe and clean tables, chairs, vending machines, and appliances in lunchroom and break areas
- clean overhead vents, dust blinds, polish wood furniture, and clean interior partition glass
- maintain janitor’s closet and properly maintain cleaning equipment
- attend periodic training and safety meetings
