Job Requirements
- Must be able to complete criminal history background check
- must obtain and maintain government security clearance
- able to stand for majority of work time
- able to walk significant portions of the workday
- able to sit as needed
- able to lift and carry 35 pounds
- able to push and pull 35 pounds
- capable of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching and handling
- able to communicate with supervisors and co-workers

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- three to six months of janitorial experience or training preferred
- ability to learn essential janitorial functions
- strong sense of integrity
- ability to pass security clearance required
- good communication skills
- ability to work cooperatively with team members
Job Duties
- Sweep and mop hallways, stairs and offices
- empty wastebaskets and dispose the trash in prescribed manner
- dust horizontal surfaces
- clean bathrooms
- clean glass and windows
- wash walls and other vertical surfaces
- vacuum rugs
- mix cleaning solutions
- maintain issued equipment
- notify supervisor when supplies and equipment are needed to perform tasks
- cooperate with team members
- other duties assigned by Custodial Supervisor
