Job Requirements
- Must be able to communicate in English
- Ability to read cleaning instructions
- Ability to differentiate between cleaning products
- Must be physically able to stand, walk, push, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach overhead and forward
- Must be able to lift or carry 25 pounds
- Availability to work night shifts 5 days a week for 2.5 - 3 hours per shift
- Reliable and punctual
- Willingness to learn and adaptable to training
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper a plus but not required
- Experience in a professional janitorial company, office complex, hotel, hospital, or school a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasked job environment
- Positive attitude and ability to contribute to a team effort
- Respect and understanding for co-workers and customers
- Ability to communicate in English
Job Duties
- Perform all cleaning duties for facilities using provided ServiceMaster products, tools and procedures
- Must be available nights for 2.5 - 3 hour shifts, 5 days a week, 18+ hours per week
- Sweep, mop, polish, remove trash, clean windows, and move furniture and equipment
- Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment
- Use proper personal protective equipment where required
- Open and lock facilities, enable and disable security systems as required
- Provide on the job training to those with strong work ethic and willingness to learn
