Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely
  • Prior experience in a similar role preferred
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines
  • Must be able to perform physical tasks involving cleaning and light repair work
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday morning shifts
  • Strong communication skills

  • Basic repair skills for non-motorized equipment
  • Ability to operate dock equipment safely
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Thoroughly clean the service center in the assigned area, including primarily the dock area but potentially other areas when needed
  • Sweep floors
  • Empty trash receptacles
  • Organize dock and freight supplies
  • Stack and restock supplies
  • Pick up and remove debris that poses safety hazards
  • Repair non-motorized dock equipment such as deck bars and straps
  • Follow all safety guidelines for operating dock equipment and materials used
