Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year custodial work experience
- Ability to pass a background check
- Must follow all security, OPSEC, and safety protocols
- Physically able to perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability to push or pull heavy equipment
- Willingness to perform reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing
- Must maintain regular communication with Project Manager
- Able to handle and mix chemicals safely
- Capable of adhering to strict cleaning schedules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience in custodial work with knowledge and skills to perform the job
- Organized and detail orientated
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Demonstrates good customer relationship skills
Job Duties
- Follow all rules and regulations relative to entering and leaving the building
- Be physically able to perform assigned work
- Follow all security, OPSEC, and safety rules and regulations
- Maintain regular communication with Project Manager via phone, text, or email
- Fill out and submit a service ticket for each day's work and update restroom cleaning chart as needed
- Follow established procedures for handling and mixing chemicals
- Adhere to contractual cleaning schedule and provide documentation for each task on service tickets
- Track supply inventory and notify Project Manager when restocking is needed
- Keep janitor closet clean, organized, and odor free
- Perform annual cleaning of interior and exterior window surfaces
- Remove trash and recyclables
- Sweep, dust, mop, and damp mop floors
- Clean walk-off mats
- Perform annual floor stripping, sealing, polishing, and waxing
- Conduct semi-annual buffing, burnishing, and spray buffing
- Vacuuming duties
- Carpet cleaning and shampooing
- Sweep, clean, wash staircases, stairwells, and elevators
- Dust high and low surfaces
- Clean drinking fountains
- Service and clean restrooms, showers, and stalls
- Tile and grout cleaning
