Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
prior maintenance experience
strong experience with wood and marble floor maintenance
experience operating floor machines
standing for extended periods
bending
lifting up to 30 lbs
ability to work around cleaning solvents and chemicals with proper PPE

team skills and the ability to work effectively with staff and internal and external contacts

Job Duties

Keeps assigned areas of the building clean and orderly by vacuuming carpets
empties waste baskets and collects paper for recycling
cleans bathrooms
cleans glass and brass with proper cleaning products
maintains and cleans floors using proper floor care products, machines, and techniques
keeps work area orderly and keeps all equipment clean
performs minor maintenance on cleaning equipment or notifies manager if repair is needed
performs other duties and responsibilities as required, including special event cleaning
