Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in janitorial or cleaning services preferred
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong commitment to punctuality and attendance
- Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and materials
- Capacity to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work flexible hours including night shifts
- Commitment to maintaining safety and security standards

- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
Job Duties
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpets, rugs, windows and walls
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in various work areas such as offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, and locker rooms
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture dust-free including lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings
- Empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a cleaning chart of cleaned and inspected areas
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Close doors at end of night shift
