Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in janitorial services preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including night shifts
- Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- Dependable and punctual
- Good communication skills
- Willingness to work in various indoor and outdoor conditions

- Ability to follow instructions and management directions

- Good physical condition to handle lifting and physical tasks
- Ability to maintain cleaning records

Job Duties
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors carpets rugs windows and walls and general tasks
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors in offices rooms hallways lobbies lounges elevators stairs locker rooms and other work areas
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture free of dust as well as lighting fixtures marble surfaces and moldings
- Empty trash cans and clean trash cans and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks door handles office tools and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies where required
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies in stock and request missing materials from supervisors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or conditions requiring maintenance
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating the areas cleaned and inspected
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Close doors at the end of the night shift
