- ability to perform manual cleaning and maintenance tasks
- experience with cleaning equipment and hand tools
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- physical ability to lift and move furniture and equipment
- willingness to perform outdoor duties in various weather conditions
- good communication skills
Job Qualifications

- previous experience in custodial or maintenance work preferred
- ability to use custodial tools and equipment

Job Duties
- keep buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing cleaning and minor repairs
- maintain the cleanliness and appearance of floors by sweeping, mopping, and using custodial equipment
- wash interior surfaces of buildings such as walls, ceilings, and windows
- empty waste receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- dust and polish furniture
- operate freight elevators to move clothing, laundry, and equipment
- maintain grounds by cutting grass, raking leaves, weeding, and thinning flower beds
- perform outside duties like washing windows, sweeping walks, shoveling snow, and picking up trash
- load or unload equipment and supplies
- move and set up furniture such as beds, desks, and cabinets
