Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous janitorial, custodial, porter, or housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to work Sunday through Thursday, 12:00 am to 8:30 am
- reliable and punctual with a good attendance record
- ability to lift and move equipment and furniture
- ability to use cleaning materials and equipment safely
- eligibility to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- Previous janitorial experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control
- ability to follow detailed instructions and cleaning protocols
- strong attention to detail and initiative
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- good physical stamina for heavy cleaning duties
- effective communication skills
Job Duties
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back in correct placement
- cleans assigned areas with assigned materials and equipment
- sanitizes all surfaces following an eight-step cleaning procedure
- washes walls, windows, furniture, and baseboards
- seeks out areas requiring cleaning and takes initiative to complete tasks
- completes all tasks assigned by supervisor
- performs tasks in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines
- strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors
- shampoos carpets
- contributes to the team and exhibits professionalism
- performs other duties as assigned
