Job Requirements
- Prior janitorial experience is required
- Availability to work Monday through Friday, 1:30 pm to 10:00 pm
- Ability to perform heavy cleaning duties
- Must be able to follow federal, state, and local guidelines
- Ability to use cleaning equipment and materials
- Must maintain professionalism and teamwork
- Willingness to comply with a drug-free workplace policy
Job Qualifications
- Prior janitorial experience
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures
- Knowledge of infection control plans
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Physical capability to perform demanding cleaning tasks
Job Duties
- Collects and disposes of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans
- Dusts and damp mops floors following approved procedures
- Moves equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and places furniture back correctly
- Cleans assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment
- Sanitizes all surfaces following the eight-step cleaning procedure
- Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items
- Takes initiative to identify and clean areas requiring attention
- Completes all tasks assigned by the supervisor
- Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state, and county guidelines
- Strips, scrubs, buffs, and refinishes floors
- Shampoos carpets
- Exhibits professionalism with customers, employees, and others
- Performs other duties as assigned
