Job Requirements
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Ability to stand walk and sit for long periods including the ability to walk long distances
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move a minimum of 40 pounds of office and facilities equipment including cleaning products tools and ladders
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust focus
- Physical ability to perform repetitive movements such as stand walk sit use hands to finger handle or feel objects tools or controls reach with hands and arms climb stairs balance stoop kneel crouch or crawl talk or hear
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 or more months experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions required
- Completion of significant safety training required
Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping mopping dusting vacuuming and disinfecting various areas within assigned area
- Clean and sanitize restrooms replenish supplies and ensure hygienic conditions at all times
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables in designated areas
- Respond promptly to spills and other cleaning emergencies to ensure safety
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects
- Maintain and operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors
