Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • proven experience in janitorial or bussing roles
  • ability to understand and follow sanitation and safety policies
  • ability to communicate effectively in English
  • ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift up to 15 pounds
  • willingness to wear a uniform as specified
  • must attend and complete all required training and orientations
  • able to work in fast paced restaurant environment
  • compliance with all local and state health regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a janitor busser
  • ability to communicate in English
  • ability to understand the policies and procedures used to clean and sanitize a restaurant
  • ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out simple one or two-step instructions
  • ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
  • completion of orientation and training programs including food and/or alcohol service certifications
  • ability to work as part of a team
  • physical ability to meet the demands of the job.

Job Duties

  • Adhering to uniform standards
  • adhering to policies and procedures that maintain a clean and sanitized restaurant
  • maintain clean and organized stations and equipment
  • ensure HOH standards, safety and sanitation, and GHS requirements are followed at all times
  • ability to work as a team
  • train using tablets or computer
  • ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • any other duty or responsibility that management may deem necessary
  • assisting with opening and closing duties of the restaurant included, but not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning tables, etc.
