Job Requirements
- 18 years of age or older
- eligible to work in the United States
- effective communication skills in English both written and spoken
- ability to follow safety protocols and cleaning instructions
- ability to access and interpret printed and electronic information
- prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- knowledge of cleaning techniques and equipment
- ability to pass background check and drug screen
- eligibility to acquire security credentials and clearances as required
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, crawling, crouching, and hearing
- ability to see well with close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Job Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- eligible to work in the United States
- communicate effectively in English reading, writing, speaking
- basic ability sufficient to follow safety protocols and cleaning instructions
- prior experience in janitorial or cleaning services is preferred
- knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment
- ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically including use of electronic devices such as iPads, tablets, computers, and mobile devices
- effectively communicate with colleagues and clients both in-person and through electronic means
- pass a background check and drug screen
- eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal as applicable
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- perform general cleaning duties in terminals, restrooms, offices, and other airport areas
- clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring they are stocked with necessary supplies
- operate cleaning machinery such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet cleaners
- respond promptly to cleaning emergencies or spillages
- follow all safety and health regulations related to cleaning and chemical use
- exemplify PrimeFlight customer service and safety standards
- perform any additional duties as assigned by management
