Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods and walk long distances
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
- Must maintain neat appearance and wear provided uniform
Job Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months of experience in commercial facilities and building janitorial work desired
- Knowledge of basic janitorial duties and responsibilities
- Good listening and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain a neat appearance
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Job Duties
- Maintain and clean all floor surfaces including sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming and spot clean carpets
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and other objects
- Clean monitor and maintain restrooms
- Empty trash cans for proper disposal use of compactor for certain materials
- Clean windows glass partitions and mirrors and other surfaces using appropriate cleaners and equipment
- Replenish paper products and sanitary supplies and maintain the janitorial closet orderly
- Perform other duties as assigned in accordance with scope of work or customer needs
