Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must live within 50 miles of Reno, NV facility unless active-duty military
- No relocation or employment immigration sponsorship will be provided
- Ability to stand continuously during shift
- Ability to kneel, bend, climb with or without accommodations
- Able to work at heights up to 40 feet
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds
- Ability to wear required PPE
- Exposure to high noise levels and forklift activity
- Exposure to indoor and outdoor weather conditions
- Work environment exposes to oils, lubricants, and solvents
Job Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
- A minimum of six months of previous facilities or janitorial experience preferred
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work with limited or no supervision
- Adhere to all government regulations and corporate safety standards to maintain a safe and compliant work environment
- Ability to communicate effectively
Job Duties
- Perform cleaning and sanitation of the facility including cafeterias, break areas, bathrooms, and hallways
- Clean, sanitize, and refill inventory for all plant restrooms
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in break areas, cafeterias, bathrooms, hallways, offices
- Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified such as vacuums and floor scrubbers
- Help organize and maintain closets and storage areas
- Prepare all cleaning solutions required for the sanitation of the facility
- Properly track the use of all chemical cleaning agents, paints, and supplies removed from plant inventory
