Job Requirements

Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
Minimum of 3 months to 1 year of training or equivalent job exposure
One year experience in commercial cleaning preferred
Ability to read safety requirements and instructions
Ability to write basic forms and tags
Physical capacity to perform heavy work including lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally
Good hand-eye coordination and depth perception
Ability to work in elevated positions
Willingness to work in noisy, dusty, and potentially hazardous chemical plant environments

Job Duties

Follow rules of safe conduct at all times
Demonstrate good housekeeping
Accurately interpret and apply information from work orders, job orders, and specifications
Identify, recognize and demonstrate safe usage of chemicals and machinery during use
Recognize various materials used on the job and demonstrate a working knowledge of appropriate material handling techniques
Vacuum, mop, dust, general cleaning
Strip, wax, and buff floors
Gather and empty trash
Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees
Service, clean, and supply restrooms
Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
Clean and polish furniture and fixtures
