Job Requirements

- no previous work-related experience required
- ability to lift objects up to 50 lbs
- capacity to bend, stretch, twist, and reach
- ability to use cleaning equipment and follow safety protocols

Job Duties
- monitor building security and safety by locking doors after operating hours and checking electrical appliance use
- service, clean, and supply restrooms
- gather and empty trash
- clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
- follow procedures for safe use of chemical cleaners and power equipment
- mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions
- strip, seal, finish, and polish floors
- notify managers about major repairs or additions needed
- requisition supplies and equipment for cleaning and maintenance
- clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning agents
