Job Requirements
- Prior experience in janitorial custodial or cleaning roles is preferred but not required
- experience working in a hospitality golf course or event venue setting is a plus
- ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
- ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- comfortable working with cleaning chemicals and equipment
- strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organization
- ability to identify and address areas in need of cleaning or maintenance
- ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently without direct supervision
- punctual and reliable with the ability to manage time effectively to complete daily responsibilities
- professional attitude and demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
- ability to work in a friendly and cooperative manner with other staff members and guests
- basic communication skills to understand and follow instructions
- ability to report maintenance issues or supply shortages to the supervisor
- bilingual a plus
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed for special events
- knowledge of basic cleaning safety protocols and willingness to follow proper procedures
- ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment reporting any hazards or issues to management
Job Qualifications
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience preferred but not required
- ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision
- strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- flexibility in work hours including weekends and evenings as needed for events
- high school diploma or equivalent
- certification in cleaning or custodial services is a plus
Job Duties
- Sweep mop and vacuum floors in high-traffic areas including hallways banquet rooms restrooms and entranceways
- dust and clean furniture windows windowsills light fixtures and other surfaces
- empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste in designated areas
- clean and sanitize restrooms ensuring the availability of supplies such as soap toilet paper and paper towels
- assist with the cleaning and setup of banquet rooms before and after events
- ensure floors and event spaces are spotless after gatherings and functions
- regularly check and restock restrooms with necessary supplies
- disinfect and clean sinks mirrors toilets and other bathroom facilities
- keep track of cleaning supplies and notify the supervisor when inventory needs replenishing
- maintain a safe and organized working environment by promptly reporting any hazards or maintenance issues
- adhere to all safety protocols and ensure the equipment used is in good working condition
- assist with any light maintenance duties as needed such as replacing light bulbs or minor repairs
