Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- ability to work Monday through Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- ability to perform physical tasks including walking, bending, standing, stooping
Job Qualifications
- familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to operate equipment and machinery
- integrity and ability to work independently or as a team member
Job Duties
- clean and maintain designated spaces both inside and outside of the facility on a daily basis
- dust, vacuum, sweep, mop, polish, shampoo carpets, wash windows and empty trash on a daily basis
- maintain and stock supply rooms and bathrooms as needed
- perform light maintenance and repair
- check for potential safety issues or needed repairs and report them to the Facility Manager
- move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment as needed
