Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain cleaning schedules and records
- Comfortable working in varying environments including exposure to chemicals and weather
- Willingness to work flexible hours including night shifts

- Strong attention to detail
- Good physical condition and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment

Job Duties
- Clean the interior of buildings, including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, walls, and general tasks
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in offices, rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairs, and locker rooms
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture free of dust and clean lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings
- Empty trash cans and clean trash receptacles and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating cleaned and inspected areas
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Close doors at the end of the night shift
