Job Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in cleaning or facility maintenance is beneficial
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous but not required
- Ability to follow detailed cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Good communication skills to report issues and coordinate with supervisors
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift weights up to 50 pounds
- Ability to maintain a reliable attendance and punctuality record
- Basic understanding of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service and teamwork
Job Duties
- Clean the interior of buildings including floors, carpets, rugs, windows, and walls
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors in various areas such as offices, hallways, lobbies, elevators, stairs, and locker rooms
- Clean stains from chairs and upholstered furniture
- Keep furniture, lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and moldings free of dust
- Empty trash cans and clean trash and ashtrays
- Disinfect commonly used items such as desks, door handles, office tools, and phones
- Clean and maintain restrooms and replenish supplies
- Wash and clean windows and mirrors
- Empty trash and recycling containers to the disposal area
- Clean trash and snow from sidewalks if necessary
- Maintain the inventory of cleaning supplies and request missing materials from supervisors
- Notify supervisors of unsafe conditions or maintenance needs
- Maintain a cleaning chart indicating cleaned and inspected areas
- Follow safety and precaution rules
- Lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- Close doors at the end of the night shift
