Job Duties
- Greet guests and provide details on items for sale using suggestive selling techniques
- provide detailed information about coffee and barista-style beverages
- prepare coffee and espresso-based drinks according to standard recipes and guest preferences
- ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and quality of beverages
- monitor equipment and supplies to maintain smooth beverage preparation
- participate in set-up, opening and closing procedures, arrange inventory, notify supervisor of shortages
- perform clean-up duties and maintain quality appearance of work area
- accurately record transactions and inform guests of amounts owed
- collect payments via cash or credit cards
- process correct change for guests
